Vehicle Description 1988 PORSCHE 930 S TURBO FACTORY FLACHBAU SLANTNOSE COUPE I'm proud to offer this superb Milestone Collectible from the Museum floor.
It is a factory built 930 S M505 Slantnose Porsche.
It is one of 625 slantnose Porsches built between 1987-1989 for U.
S.
consumption (Coupe and Cabriolet).
Published Stats indicate they only built 278 in 1988 (187 Coupes).

It's easy to spot a Gray Market version by simply noting the amber Side Marker on the front fenders .
This model marked the 1st time the Porsche factory ever offered 'modified production cars' to the United States through Dealers and the PCNA.
Having personally owned 2 others, I searched for 14 months and finally located a 'real one' through a contact at Brumos Mercedes / Porsche.
I purchased this car in May of 2007, direct from a Doctor, on Amelia Island,Fl.
, then placed on display here in the Mt.
Dora Museum of Speed for 12 yrs.
It is finished in it's original paint of Gran Prix White with Burgundy Leather.
It carries exclusive features only given the 3.

Sold new this amazing Slantnose Package ranged in cost, over the 3 year offering, $23,833 to $29500, plus the MSRP,.
Dealers marked them up, due to demand.
So, this beauty could easily reach $120,000
with options, new (2021 CPI:
$289,173).
Included was the Side Air Induction with Slats, Oil Cooler in the R.
Fender, and the Flachblau Metal Fenders (not 'glass) constructed at the factory.
Only the 'originals' carried Round, Pop-Up, sealed-beam headlamps (not rectangular) and die cast (not welded-in) Fender Louvers.
The Boxed Side Rockers had the Jack supports welded and extended to the frame.
The original M 505 Factory Option Sticker is still glued to the underside of the hood.
Hand-made at the WERKS 1 Porsche facility on the factory grounds, they were dubbed the SONDERWUNSCHOPROGRAMM (Special Wish Order Program).

'True' Factory, Slantnose Optioned Porsche's are actually hard to find as few remain and they are considered by most collectors to be one of the World's Greatest Exotic Sportscars.

We sent this car from the Museum, after display, for Complete -Engine out - freshening including all Gaskets, major Tune, expensive Rebuild & Replacement of all important crucial parts incl.

It was then re-stored and is now sold 'as is'.
