Summary:

This is a critical and senior role to lead the Global Technologies & OEM Partnership section of the new Global Engineering & Maintenance organization. This is a highly visible role who will interface closely with Global and regional supply chain organization to identify and execute technology optimization across the company, develop & define new technology roadmap in this space, and drive the roll-out of innovation programs globally. Additionally, this role will develop and own the global engineering design standards from Receiving to Palletizing. Opportunity to interface and influence across the company and senior stakeholders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:

Leading the Technology & Future Development Organization Set-up, Development and Continual Management
Interface with internal and external key stakeholders to develop, define and renew critical business needs across network
Develop and own innovation roadmap in this space (Processing, Packaging, Palletizing, Utilities, WWTP etc)
Creating and maintaining standards globally
Provide ongoing and any critical/ urgent support to all regions/ plants as and when required
Close collaboration with Tech Svcs & Procurement teams to identify/validate/roll-out new technologies/ upgrade/ innovations etc
Lead alternative vendors identification and validation for existing technologies with Tech Svcs/ Procurement/ OEMs
Partnership with OEMs to identify, develop and validate new technologies
Own and roll-out Lean Capital Investment Process (LCIP) globally
Support REAs reviews
Mange the direct reports in Global Technology & Future Development Org
Geography responsibility of NA (or LATAM depending on candidate)

Education:

University Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or in a related discipline
Advanced degree is preferable

Leadership Abilities:

Proven capability to develop and maintain strong collaborative business relationships across global and regional functions
Ability to influence effective decision-making with cross-functional teams
Highly developed interpersonal skills with diversity and inclusion sensitivity
Excellent communication skills to effectively and persuasively articulate positions (electronically and verbally) to various audiences and at all levels of the business
Ability to effectively delegate tasks and measure progress across multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and within teams on both strategy and tactical projects with minimal supervision.
Program management skills:
identification and management of stakeholders, milestone development and tracking of progress, resource management, risk mitigation, detailed action planning, basic familiarity with change management

Business Acumen:

General business insight and the ability to manage complexity within the manufacturing landscape
Curiosity in new technologies and ability to identify ways to optimize existing technologies
Ability to propose, evaluate and motivate projects & innovations from a technical and financial perspective
Ability to interact at various levels within the global and regional integrated supply chain
Ability to interface x-functionally with other functions (e.g., Procurement, Finance, etc)

Required Length & Type of
Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in Food or CPG industries
Proven track record in a management role experienced in managing direct reports
Experience and comfortable working in a matrix organization with x-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
Proven track record to drive results through influencing, persuading and collaboration

Travel:

Willingness to travel internationally up to 40%
